Year-End Report 2025
/Dear Fellow Travelers, Generous Friends and Donors,
It’s hard to believe we are already nearing the end of 2025—this year seems to have flown by faster than ever! As the year closes, I feel deeply grateful and inspired. Our work in Kenya’s Maasai Mara continues to prove that perseverance and compassion truly change—and save—lives, for both people and wildlife. I am so thankful for your trust and support in helping us protect vulnerable animals, empower communities, and prepare the next generation through education and health initiatives.
Our AKTF rangers have patrolled tirelessly across the Mara, removing hundreds of wire snares and responding to countless calls from community members about injured animals. Together, we make a powerful team.
Our teachers and community partners have ensured that children learn safely and that girls receive the dignity and opportunities they deserve. Health outreach teams, working with the Ministry of Health, have supported families and strengthened community wellbeing.
While nature can bring heartbreak, we focus on hope—and the results speak for themselves: countless animals saved, students graduating into respected careers, and women gaining independence and stability through their own enterprises. None of this would be possible without you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
On the travel front, Farley and I (A.K. Taylor International) continue to explore new corners of the world. We recently enjoyed a wonderful family trip to Morocco and look forward to more adventures ahead. After over 50 years in the business, it’s still a joy to create journeys that inspire and connect people across the globe. Thank you for trusting us with your travels.
